Why iPhone and iPad browsers can't connect to your trainer, and what to use instead.
iPhone and iPad browsers can't connect to Bluetooth devices. That includes Safari and also Chrome on iOS, because every browser on an iPhone or iPad is built on Safari underneath. WattAscent therefore can't reach your trainer from them.
What to use instead: ride with Chrome or Edge on a Windows or Mac computer, or with Chrome on an Android phone or tablet.
Your iPhone still works for everything that doesn't need Bluetooth: checking your plan, your progress and your rides.
